Thank You Bartholomew County!

In 6 years of Kiwanis Duck Events, we have raised over $224,794 to help children in the local area.

Our First Race - October 9, 2004

The Inaugural Kiwanis Duck Race in 2004 was a resounding success thanks to our many sponsors and everyone who adopted one or more of the 8,700 ducks in our first race.  The course could have been faster as the river was low and slow from more than 6 weeks without appreciable rain.  But with the help of Milestone Contractors, Maxim Crane Co., Ray Burbrink, and the crew of fishermen from the Rolling Hills BassMasters Club, we got the ducks into the river in exciting fashion and then hunkered down to watch the race.  Dana Hurd, of Columbus, won the Grand Prize of a 7-Day Caribbean Cruise for 2.  But the BIG winners were the 39 non-profit youth serving organizations who raised over $40,000 to help further their causes.
